Adoption Day for Mariah

Every profession has difficult days; times where nothing seems to go right, and things fail to make sense to us; days that we question our career choices and wonder what we were thinking.

Social Services is no different.

We worry and struggle with the demands of what we do, and then someone sends us a photo like this. The joy found in her smile says a lot. It says “I'm happy,” it says “I'm loved,” but to many of us it says “Praise God for Mariah and the Hackenberg family.”

Now it’s time to get back to work and go find our next joyful smile…
